Wild skills is part of the Richard Glyn Foundation Ltd an educational charity, and was created to provide young adults with vital experiences of the natural environment, animals and wildlife, adventure and thoughtful exchanges; to help develop self-awareness, self-confidence and positive self esteem

The courses will be running throughout the spring and summer, and are aimed at 12 - 15 year olds.  Participants need to complete a series of four short courses to qualify for camps outs, where they will have the chance to put their new bushcraft skills into practice.

Topics covered include firelighting, shelter building, fishing, wild food foraging, campfire cooking, finding water, navgiation and natural cordage.

The wildskills team also run bushcraft days for  9 - 12 year olds during the school holidays, a fun way to meet new friends and enjoy the great outdoors!  And also have lots of options for youth groups or private parties, we can tailor-make your day in the woods!
