Wildskills adventure programme for teenagers 2010 |

A series of half day programmes all about bushcraft and outdoor living skills. The courses consist of one essential introduction session, four basic sessions and three other optional sessions. The sessions run from 10am till 1pm on saturdays and 4pm till 7pm on wednesdays and are priced at £15 per head for a three hour session, or six sessions for £90
- Essential introduction session: This session must be attended before any of the others, and is a good 'taster'. You will meet the other course particpants and the instructors and have the chance to have a go at some basics!
- Navigation: the basics of finding your way, with or without a map and compass
- Water: how to identify different sources, and purification processes
- Shelter: the basics of building, location and materials
- Herbology:how to identify the most common native plants (tasting not compulsory!)
The three other optional sessions are: - Natural cordage and use of natural materials
- Fishing the basic techniques
- 'Bodging and Whittling' making usefull items out of wood!
